Carrollton’s pest problems are as varied as its neighborhoods, from the damp crawl spaces near the Trinity Mills corridor to the sprawling lawns along Old Denton Road. A single national name might promise uniformity, but the reality on the ground is a patchwork of wildly different experiences.

Some technicians arrive with quiet precision and modern tools, while others leave behind a trail of unanswered calls and recurring infestations. The service range here is genuinely stark: one local branch earns trust over three decades, another struggles to justify its premium pricing.

We have gathered the experiences across eleven providers, including the welcome speed of a twenty-minute spider fix and the unexpected skill of a technician who also installs permanent lighting. Choose carefully.

Orkin

Highlights
Persistent follow-up calls
High service pricing
Recurring pest issues
Unresolved technician visits

My first encounter with Orkin in Carrollton began with high expectations, given the company's national reputation. The initial phone representative was courteous, and scheduling was simple. However, the experience soon soured. The technician arrived, performed a cursory inspection, and departed, leaving behind a promise that was never fully realized. The pests returned within weeks. What followed was a series of persistent follow-up calls, each one offering another appointment and another invoice. The pricing, I found, was considerably higher than other quotes I had received in the area, yet the recurring issues remained unresolved. Each visit seemed to reset the clock without addressing the root cause. Eventually, I grew weary of the cycle. The service was not incompetent, but it was inconsistent, and the cost did not match the outcome.
